Add New Staff

 

From the left navigation menu, select [Administrative -> Add New Staff].
When the page opens, you will be prompted to add the basic information for the new employee you are adding.
Add the personal information for the new staffer in the fields displayed.  Required fields are indicated with a red asterisk [*].
After entering information on the first page, click the ‘Next’ button at the bottom of the page. 

Add the ‘Job Details’ information for the new staffer in the fields displayed. Required fields are identified with a red asterisk [*].
When done, click the ‘Save Details’ button at the bottom of the page.

You will be redirected to the ‘Manage User Access’ page where assign the staffer’s role, associate their Active Directory account with their HOPS profile, and assign their leave, timesheet, and telework approval groups. Required fields are indicated with a red asterisk [*].

Tip: If you are unsure of the Active Directory (AD) account name, select the search icon located on the right side of the ‘Active Directory User Account’ field. A search window will appear that can be used to lookup/locate the users AD account.  

When done, click the ‘Save Details’ button at the bottom of the page to complete the staff member’s profile.

 

Email Selected User

This feature allows administrators to send an introductory email the selected staff member, which includes the link for access.

After selecting/clicking the email icon, a preview of the email will display. The email can be edited prior to sending for personalization if desired.
Click the send ‘Send email’ button to send the email.

Note: HOPS will only send to official House email addresses.
